The quality of a Terra-Steel home is superior than timber stick built homes, and superior to traditional steel framed homes, either light gauge or heavy gauge. The combination of heavy gauge, pre-engineered home steel structures designed for an easy and fast assembling with nuts and bolts, and solid earth walls create a tremendous strength synergy, because walls covers completely columns providing a gigantic reinforce against lateral loads, like hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes. The cost of the Terra-Steel system is similar to stick home construction, and in many cases depending on specifications and design, can be lower. The house or building can be finished with traditional materials, like stucco, siding, cultivated stone, Etc. Thus the appearance will be the same than other edifications in the neighborhood. |
